CIVILCO provides skill, oversight, and analysis to project teams in order to optimize project design, offer solutions to design- related challenges, and add value for our clients. With a specialized and certified engineer, designers, and building technologists, we offer technical experience across a range of essential building disciplines, for every phase of construction, on projects of all types and sizes. Beginning as early as possible in the life of a project, our preconstruction and operations teams, as well as the project’s designer of record, to identify potential design and construction risks and opportunities to add value with engineered solutions. On a design-build project, CIVILCO Engineering provides insight, guidance, and leadership related to both the design itself, and the execution of that design — from the creation of project scope and contract agreements, through preconstruction and beyond.
  • Technical Reviews are focused on individual trade disciplines, such as curtainwall or foundations, though they may include multiple building elements.
  • Risk Analyses are focused on key aspects of project delivery, beginning with a thorough review of site conditions and significant design elements. Other components of risk are typically catalogued and prioritized in a Risk Register, a process that includes a thorough review of contractual requirements.
  • Operations and Systems are evaluated during individual site inspections and construction method reviews in order to provide input on project execution.
