Beginning as early as possible in the life of a project, our preconstruction and operations teams, as well as the project’s designer of record, to identify potential design and construction risks and opportunities to add value with engineered solutions.
On a design-build project, CIVILCO Engineering provides insight, guidance, and leadership related to both the design itself, and the execution of that design — from the creation of project scope and contract agreements, through preconstruction and beyond.
Technical Reviews are focused on individual trade disciplines, such as curtainwall or foundations, though they may include multiple building elements.
Risk Analyses are focused on key aspects of project delivery, beginning with a thorough review of site conditions and significant design elements. Other components of risk are typically catalogued and prioritized in a Risk Register, a process that includes a thorough review of contractual requirements.
Operations and Systems are evaluated during individual site inspections and construction method reviews in order to provide input on project execution.
